The Team Contributors
HelixNotes started as my project, but it does not move forward on my work alone.
Yuri Karamian
Creator/Maintainer
Maintains the Rust/Tauri core and Svelte front-end, packages Linux, Android, macOS, Windows,
and other platform releases, maintains the AUR and F-Droid repositories, and handles every
issue and feature request.
Blake Boone
Community & Outreach
Handles Reddit, Mastodon, visuals, and release announcements. In the app, contributed themes
and accent presets, the custom theme editor, Note Info, code-block copy buttons, and wiki-link
creation and renaming.
More Contributors
The project also includes code, packaging, documentation, and migration work from:
SolusOS
Packaged HelixNotes in the official Solus repository.
milaforge
Contributed editor and navigation work across v1.3.1-v1.3.3: zoom and scroll controls,
encrypted secret blocks, custom note sorting, shortcut rebinding, notebook workflows, the
trash-note shortcut, and outline resizing.
qyrhal
Added the OpenAI-compatible AI provider, optional Ollama API keys, and support for AI
Actions with every configured provider.
doceys
Wrote the Nix flake, so Nix and NixOS users can build and run HelixNotes.
lokthare
Fixed the Nix flake build for v1.3.2 by updating its cargoHash.
clintre
Added the Solus installation instructions included with v1.3.1.
davi-jorge-art
Built the Joplin-to-HelixNotes migration script, now part of the documentation.
Reports, ideas, and feedback
Changelogs only record part of the work. Thank you to everyone who reports a bug, tests an early
build, suggests an idea, or helps someone else in the community. Many shipped improvements began
with a conversation rather than a commit.
